Swami was a great orator. He can gather the attention of the people very easily with his empathetic and stunning speeches. His speeches were very popular all over the world. He delivered his speeches across the globe. His one of the historic and iconic speech was delivered on 11th September 1873 at world's Religions Chicago on behalf of Hinduism. Vivekananda began his speech with the famous words, "Sisters and brothers of America," which captivated the audience and set the tone for his message of universal brotherhood and religious tolerance and accepted by the western community.

Swami Vivekananda is a great musician and a beautiful singer, he can flawlessly play the musical instruments like flute,sitar,esraj and sarangi. Swami inherited music from his parents, especially from his mother Bhuvaneswari devi who taught him a lighter genre called ' Krishna Leela' during his younger age.Vivekananada conceptualized the music in his life by taking Talim from the then gurus in vocal and pakhavaj.('Talim' is nothing but a training session for the music enthusiasts.).Swami was a great dhrupad singer and very famous at that time. He performed at various concerts at Kolkata.
Swami wrote many books on classical Indian music like "Sangeet-Kalpataru", Sachitra Vishwa Sangeet" "Music-Highest form of worship" etc.

Swami surprised many people with his extensive reading capabilities. Swami was an extraordinary reader since from his childhood, he can read a 700 pages book in an hour. He has a photographic memory that can grap the words in the paper .Raja Ajit Singh of khethri asked swami how was that possible. Swami explained that when a child starts reading, he reads one letter or alphabet at a time, and when he reads that one alphabet, his whole attention is focused on it. Gradually the child grows up, and with practice, and now he can easily read one word or two-three words at a time. Likewise, if someone goes on increasing his concentration power, he becomes able to read an entire page of a book in just a glance.
He also told to achieve such power three things are absolutely needed—
a) continence
b) practice
c) concentration.
4.meditator:
Swami is a great meditator, he used to do the meditation since from his childhood that is the reason for his high concentration power on everything. Swami involves himself in the deep meditation for hours and hours of time without the knowledge of his own body.
